Mapungupwe
In August 2007 we went to Mapungupwe. This park has opened to the public relatively recently. The park is divided into two sections. The one section has luxury accommodation and the other has camping facilities. The western part which has the camping facilities also has a waterhole. When we were there we saw between seventy and a hundred elephants each day. I had the wrong camera lens as I should have used a wide angle lens to capture them all.

We plan to visit Mapungupwe again but as it is in a malaria area we would want to visit a few other areas at the same time. (I hate the side effects of the Malaria prophylactics.)
