B& B at the Dros Waterkloof Ridge - Friday 10 July 2009.

Dirk Theron decided to organise a B&B and the eventual turnout was far better than indicated by the web replies.

I had decided to use labels again so I could remember who was who. Such a clever idea. Also I decided to use Sylvia's Canon Movie Camera for the snaps. The Canon however has a tendency to lose detail in the white. In fact it loses lots of detail and without the help of Thumbs+ and Adobe Photoshop I would not have been able to see any of the details on the labels.

But I digress.

On arrival I announced that my vehicle was leaking a pink fluid and I was concerned that it was coming from the area of the gearbox cooler. Salo and I inspected then JT also inspected and it was confirmed that it was in fact the gearbox oil which was coming out. By chance Salo had just acquired some gearbox oil for his manual gearbox and on further close inspection JT pronounced it "Automatic Gearbox Oil" which made me happy and Salo sad. Such is the way of the world. JT then added some more to replace some of the leaked out oil. (We got home safely - JT kindly offered his assistance if we got stuck.) Thank you Salo and JT for your kind help.

I digressed again.

This morning I decided I had better add the pictures before the complaints come pouring in. Roland asked me at the gathering what happened to the pictures as he never saw any. I asked whether he had ever looked at this site as there are a few on here.
