The trip as seen by us.

Wednesday 8 April 2009

Arrival at Khamkirri.

We arrived early as it is always nice to have time to set up camp and relax in the daylight.

This is the sign at the entrance.

At the gate they have created this indigenous garden.

That evening Springbok appeared near the camp site but they were skittish. It is wise for buck to be skittish in these areas.

Early arrivals relaxing after setting up camp.

Guy Boardman with the risen flag.

I decided that we would be wasting time if we just sat around the camp all day so inveigled a group to join us to Riemvasmaak. I knew that there was a warm pool there and I had been looking forward to that.

This is the view overlooking the hot spring.

Swimmers.

More view.

No bull - this is a nice place.
