On 1 February 2009 quite a few people attended the Open Day at Base 4.

I took a few snaps and I have attached them in the order they were taken. Only a few have been posted here. The pictures have been reduced in size and horribly lightened in some cases.

It is always nice to socialise with old and new friends

At this point I would personally like to thank the very rich members who entertained us at the mud hole.

If you have a low front the front enters the water.

Enters quite deeply actually.

The splashing and revving attracts spectators.

At this point it is decided to add another "cleaner" vehicle.

Actually quite a bit higher too.

Now to get out.

Upsey (no daisy)

Still no daisy

Grr!

Come on!

Oh well it was fun.

The meeting was well attended - enough to make a chairman proud.

After the meeting more chatting takes place.

And braai fires are lit.

And chewing and chatting continues.

The chairman and accomplices taking on victuals before the mud challenge.

Still others standing around.

OK - here goes . . .

Kerthunk!

Try another side.

OK - time to change drivers. (These pictures are included to show the approved driver swooping procedure in muddy water - especially if you have clean long pants.)

OK - lets go again.

Kerdoublethunk!

Good grief.

Supporters giving last minute instructions.

Kersploosh!

The happy chairman.

Eye candy.

More chewers.

Jeep people and others.

Jeep backside.

As a special tip to the fashion conscious I would suggest square spectacles.

A good time was had by all.
